お花見を英語で説明できますか？日本の文化を外国人に伝えよう

春の花と言えば桜。
日本が誇る桜の花ですが、今は世界中で桜の花が見られますね。

海外からの旅行者が日本に訪れたいと思う季節は春だそうです。日本の桜が見られるのがその理由。

海外から来ている旅行者や外国人のお友達に桜やお花見について尋ねられた時、英語で説明できますか？

日本の文化を外国人に伝えてみましょう。

お花見によく使う英単語といろいろな英文

さて、お花見によく出る単語を抜き出してみました。

お花見の由来について英語で説明する

日本人に愛される桜は、海外の方からも好きな花とよく聞きます。

特に、アメリカやカナダ、ドイツなどは春になれば桜が見事に咲き乱れ、その地域の方たちの目を楽しませていますが、実は、花見については、ほとんど知られていません。

花見は日本独自の文化であり、海外からの旅行者にから見れば花見って何？と疑問だと思います。

そこで、お花見の由来について、英語での説明してみましょう。

お花見について海外からの旅行者に聞かれたら

お花見は、日本で最も古くから毎年の風習で行われています。
春先の花と言えば桜です。桜が咲くと一斉に愛でながら宴会など行われています。
